Introducing "The S.T.A.N. Plan"

Things To Remember During This Quarantine

Things To Remember While Quarantined

If you don't know this, I spent about 20 years or better in Social Media. I built communities for other people. It was fun, whilst it lasted. Now I work in the financial sector and am more retired than anything. But old habits are hard to break. So I keep up on a lot of Social Media Channels. And here's what I've noticed.

Remote Work Is Incredibly Fullfilling

A lot of people act like remote work, social distancing, quarantine, etc... is too much to bear. Like it's impossible to do. So I put together a few reminders of past experiences to help you get through.

  1. High School. You thought you'd never get through it. You couldn't wait to get a job and join the 'working crowd'. Well... how'd that work out for you? :-)
  2. You listened to "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", the full version, on 8 track, album, and cassette. Not to mention some of the drum solos of the 70's and 80's. You'll get through this too.
  3. Caddyshack 2.. Did you leave or stay? Just asking. Leave? or Stay?

I'm sure if you think about it, there are things far worse than:
  • not being able to get your nails done
  • not drinking coffee at an overpriced Starbutts
  • spending $100 for a family of four to see a movie.

So...
Learn to crochet, play guitar, or paint. Get your garden started. Clean the gutters or trim the hedges. And talk to the people that your holed up with.

This is not the worse thing that could happen. Money comes and money goes. But once health leaves...in this manner...it's hard to get back.

My timer is beeping away at me. I gotta go. Have a great day, week, month, quarantine. It could be worse.

Peace, Love and Understanding.
We'll cy'all down the road.
